understand the brief
research the company
dress accordingly for the client
present your work amazingly
don't be late
group talk
* never expect anyone to be more enthusiastic than you are
*talk slowly and use eye contact
*be excited about what you have got, smile a lot
*make notes of every little comments

if clients ask something you are not sure or unready to answer, always promise the best you can and sort out the problems after the pitch. try not to show that you are unprepared.
